OO Only in a Dream Oo

I look to the sky, and I wonder..
Do the birds ever sing at night?..

The night is so dark..
The air so cold..
My mind,
it just doesn\\\'t feel right..
As shadows linger,
They twist round and round..
But soon they halt to a stop..

I look around..
and suddenly realize..
that..
The darkness, its fading away..

Everything suddenly feels right..
Like a leaf on a tree..
I feel so free..
As the wind it blows through the shadows..
I feel a small beating in my chest..
Love still exists in this broken little heart..
A small little flame of hope..
I start to pray, I will be strong..
I can get through this, I know..
Then out of the darkness..
Comes a brilliant beam of light..
It cuts through the shadows like a knife..
Is this heaven?
This mustn\\\'t be real..
But a dream is all it is..
I wake to see my bedroom..
The sun shining through the window..
The most beautifully it\\\'s ever been..
I get out from my covers..
I look out the window..
And slowly I whisper to myself..
