The Marks And A Thousad Lies

When you look at me
do you see the scars
have you noticed the truth
what lies behind these lying eyes
have you wondered why i seem so happy
i smile to hide the tears that fall
from these drowning eyes
you'll never figure it out
this pain that i can't bare
i've got the marks
and a thousand lies
so much pain to spare
you'll never know the truth
