Dark Days

by Clarity   May 24, 2006

Our world grows darker, day by day
But that's the price we have to pay

All the hate is coming to a head
But our parents left the cleaning up to our generation instead.

Our job will be to clean the world up
To do good deeds and overflow her cup.

To end centuries of senseless hate
We have to hurry before it gets to late.

Before the bombing starts again
Unless we want to be like WW2 London.

With all the blackouts and fears
Just thinking about it is enough to bring tears.

What kind of life would that be for our little ones?
A life full of hatred, a life full of guns.

So it's time for our generation to step up to the plate.
Hurry guys, before its to late.

Good peice with a clear and well conveyed message within. the 4th line seems a little long, but it doesn't disrupt the overall flow andy great amount so will proabally be ok left as it is. the structure is good and the rhymes smoth and unforced.
