How Did We Ever Get This Way?

When I looked into your eyes
I used to see stars
all shining right in front of me
but now, I don't know what I see
You tell me lies
and we both know it
but we hate it
we ignore it
how did we ever get this way?
why did you start lying anyway?
so wrong, so right and so confused
I guess your sparkles now are bruised
by my tears that hit them so deep
hit them why you were trying to sleep
it's the worries and the tries
that caused even much more lies
as your daughter I looked up to you
but now, I don't know, I'm lost
lost within you
and it's your smile that's away
I wish we never argued again
where are you,; so deep inside?
where are you,; please don't hide...

    I really loved this poem, especially "I guess your sparkles now are bruised
    by my tears that hit them so deep" And the last two lines, but the rhythm was a little interupted at times, maybe try dividing it into stanzas so you don't have to hunt for the rhymes as much. But over all, great poem, keep it up.
