You choose to drink
Is that OK at your age?
What do you think?

I try to help you
Try to make you understand
But you don't want my help
You reject my helping hand

I know I'm not your age
And you think I don't have a clue
About how to handle your situation
But believe me I do

Don't try to be cool
Don't try to be fly
Don't try to impress
A few cute guys

You're smarter than that
You and I both know it
So don't give me the excuse
You were caught up in the moment

Just take my advice and say no
I'm trying to help you

You say that you do it
To prove that you can
But why do you need to?
Is that part of your plan?

Then you say you'll stop but the funny thing is
You don't know how

I promised not to tell
Because of the trouble you'd be in
