From Love to Hate

I thought I found love
but when push came to shove
love was something I knew nothing of

I found out that all I knew was pain
and the tears of my soul fell like the rain
Yet my love never came

I was left alone
to the depths of despair, I was thrown
With my wounds that cut to the bone

There I bled
There I wished I was dead
and there my hatred was fed

Until my hate was strong enough
to lift me up
and I drank from despairs cup

Now hate is what keeps me alive
Hate for all of her lies
I am now what I once despised

revenge is all I hunger for
I want noting more
than to see her heart broken, lying on the on the floor

    This poem has so much emotion in it, cody!! most of the time, ppl bury such strong emotions, but you bring them out into the open. i love it!!
