Invasions, Ray Guns, and Poetry

by Twisted Heart   May 27, 2006

A mischievious invader
Has come to EOP
He\'s landed in our forum
And zaps our poetry.
I see him for a minute
And just as quick, he\'s gone
Infiltrating mass destruction
In every link he\'s on.
They say his name is Marvin
He\'s mean as he can be
His Ray Gun fully loaded
And he\'s chasing after me.
Come forth you little martian
I\'ve better things to do
Than chase you round this forum
With a lazar gun or two.
I\'ve been challenged to a duel
To write of Looney Toons
But Taz, Bugs Bunny, and Daffy Duck
Are lost because of you.
Ooh, you think you\'re clever
With your helmet made of tin
But you just don\'t realize
The trouble that you\'re in.
Your best bet, I guarantee
Is to take a little trip
Go back to where you came from
In your tiny, little ship.
Don\'t make me call for back-up
\'Cause you wouldn\'t stand a chance
We\'d blast you into Orbit
Without a second glance.
So go, you little spaceman
Be gone, Be on your way
Because I am too busy
To fight with you today.

Jeannie! Now I know where you've been! have been scouting for you the whole of last month!

    I've really missed you girl!

this is a great piece of work, Jeannie! It takes a lot of talent to write humour and I think you definitely have it!

take care Jeannie, keep in touch.

    love always

Wow very interesting... I get the feeling that this poem is about something totally unrelated but I love it anyway.. love how it was set up with no specific stanzas.. nice job..
