Ive been broken,
Ive been lost.
Ive fallen in sin,
Ive paid the cost.
Ive felt love,
Ive felt pain.
Sweet misery,
disdain.
I think too hard,
or not enough,
I raise my guard,
I try to be tough.
I close my eyes,
I cry at night.
Hiding from lies,
wake in fright.
Ive been torn
I hurt inside.
Ive been forlorn,
I fall to pride.
I am vulnerable
I am sensitive.
My mind is full,
My heart is pensive.
Lord have mercy on me
For I have sinned
Ive fallen
Wisdom is gained
Through hardship and pain.
What doesnt kill us makes us stronger.
Ive hit a wall
But, before you can walk, you must learn to crawl.
I am not perfect,
And will never be.
All I can offer to you
Is the best and the worst, of me.
