Vampire Murderer

by -Ghostship Fidelity-   May 30, 2006

Your floor boards pulse and move
Breathing as you take light steps
Oh tread lightly, these floors aren't forgiving
For I'm living in them
I will splinter and crack
But I will never fall away
This is a place my body was put to rest
The place my pieces were stored
After you gnawed off every limb
With ivory teeth
And cut through me
With those eyes of emptiness
I used to say I got lost in them
Never did I say that was a good thing
Your skin would make me shiver
Oh I never said that was a good thing
I never said that was a good thing
I'm starting to regret it
The way I lied through gags
And the way I strained against shackles
I'm starting to think it would have been better
To just accept your so called cold love
How I love you, my murderer

Did you write this to be a song?? It has a song vibe to it. Its awesome, don't get me wrong. But was it intended to be a song?
I love how you could twist something as tragic as a murder into a love thing. Nicely done!
