A little piece of life

by Miss Krueger   May 31, 2006

Yesterday I sat with you, we sat there for a while, you held my ivory hand in yours, we didn't feel the time, I wanted to speak but I couldn't

Silence was commanding the space we had, it was magical and fragile, we were surrounded by it, we felt it, it was climbing the air around us

We whispered quietly so it wouldn't faint, you feared it most of all, although I longed for its tender kiss, we knew it wouldn't last

Our lips met, but as silent as before, we heard the birds in the garden, the light was gray and the feeling was fainting

It could have been a dream, I seems like it today, it made me feel peaceful inside, but if you hadn't been there I would have cried, it was an omen that I would lose you
