Resent

by Hanna   Jun 1, 2006

*PN: I wrote this after I was fed up with the way I was being treated in school. If anyone has been in this situation, you'll know how it feels. Please leave a comment on what you like or how I could improve. Thank you for your time. Enjoy!

I stand there watching people pass,
Watching them pass by,
I hold a smile on my face,
But inside I want to die.

My heart, it's like it's bleeding,
Torn by hate and dread,
It makes me want to grab a gun
And hold it to my head.

Maybe then they'll notice,
What they do to me,
They think that they are harmless,
But I will make them see.

See the pain they caused me,
What they drove me to,
See the damage that they've caused,
And what they've made me do.

Maybe then, they'll listen,
Listen to my cries,
They'll come to me, and they will see,
The resentment in my eyes.
