Alone

by Hanna   Jun 1, 2006

*PN: I wrote this poem when my friend was in this situation and ran to my house in the rain. Please leave a comment on what you like or how I could improve. Thank you for your time. Enjoy!

Eyes twitching nervously,
In a corner all alone,
A young girl shivers silently,
She's run away from home.

Her parents arguing again,
She couldn't take anymore,
She cried when things got out of hand,
So ran out of the door.

Now she sits in the pouring rain,
No one sees she's there,
In a corner all alone,
Knowing that they just don't care.

Holy moly, that was very well written. So much emotion in such a small poem. Keep up the great work. 5/5 :)
