Winter Night

A winter night
Clear Skies above
I'm sitting in the snow
Thinking about love

Yes about him
The one my heart longs for
The only one
My mind adores

He's strong and he's handsome
He cares and makes me laugh
And looking back
It's like a map

It all leads to him
All my rejections
The pains the gains
And even this reflection

As I sit in the snow
I begin to realize
That I don't see my future
In his eyes

I see him
And I see something more
It's something I love
Where emotions are stored

When I talk to him
I'm me just me
There's no one else
I'm trying to be

I accept who I am
I want to be with him too
Now that I'm crying
What am I to do

He is "into" someone else
And it kills me but yet I'm happy still
Because even though not with me he's happy
And that's my hearts will

I just can't envision life without him
I don't know what I would do
So as I sit here this winter Night
My heart starts to freeze too
