Dear Daddy,

Let me just say a few things...
Things you'll never know.
Tell me why I'll never be enough for you, and why you pretend to care.
Tell me why you even stick around, when I'll never meet your "standards."
How can you just SIT there while I cry myself to sleep, trying to fill the holes you've so carelessly made?
What makes you think you can touch me?
You've made enough scars on my battered heart already.
I love how you say you love me, even though you never really HAVE.
I don't want your fake love...
I'd rather be hated than be loved for "pretend".
Each time you say my name, a little piece of me falls away.
You've never cared in the first place, leave me alone, i don't want you to stay!
I long to be a "daddy's little girl"...but we BOTH know that will NEVER happen.
When you look into my eyes, the message you read is "Hi daddy, everything's fine...my life is PERFECT!!"
Well...here's what i'm silently screaming:
"Hi dad...thanks for never BEING there, thanks for tearing me apart, thanks for killing me, thanks for THROWING ME ON THE GROUND!!!"
Do you know how it feels to feel worthless?
Well, you make me feel like that everyday.
I love you so much it's scary, but you'll never return the favor.
I cry in the corner, the empty pit in my stomach is permanently stained from the love you never shared.
I long to end the pain, but what's the use?
You kill me enough everyday.
And I don't even know why I'm WRITING this...because you don't care enough to read it anyway.
It would KILL you to see me happy for once.
You only care about yourself and your foolish wants.
