Phoenix Rise

by Insignia   Jun 7, 2006

Now I'm down - living hell on earth,
these argues made me decay inside; wiped out my soul,
you have been my safety - you have been my rebirth;
but tell my how could I just feel so cold?

Still living, still loving - prisoner of fortress pain,
still giving, still drowning, still without control,
no progress, no change, all remains the same.
The bitter pay to be one moment bold.

Gonna run, wanna cry, whilst eternity is passing by,
but these walls keep me here; walls of love
that make me care, give me wings and let me fly.
And then.. crushed down in sorrows cove.

Here I am, are you there? Offered all my life to share,
all my fears and all my tears; you've seen them all!
Try to believe me, try to believe my words - be fair.
No prejudice, do not pass guilt to those who're close to fall.

You are my source and let me stay alive,
replied to all my wishes, to my prays.
And after every fall, like phoenix, there's a rise.
Hope dies at last - that's what it says.
