And Why?

Why?
Must it happen?
Good eggs, go bad?
Were they born that way?
Or, do they change?

Why?
Must it happen?
People believe lies,
And not you?
Can the liar change? Or, not?

Why?
Can a friendship melt?
Like butter, on a hot day?
Was it meant to be like that?
Or, did something happen?

Why?
Can a child so sweet,
Lie so bad,
And cause your friendship,
to stop?

    I like it. I had a friendship like that, I can relate a lot. Check your spelling, though. I'm pretty certain "lier" is spelled incorrectly.
