Just A Rose

Silence
Memories
drifting away slowly
in the dead of night
brought to life
Fear
Shame
taking the blame
and throwing it
in the face of the
Innocent
what made it right?
Broken
Lifeless
a girl made of porcelain
once so beautiful
now rotting in her grave
Knife
Blood
Nightmare
a perfect,fragile life
thrown away
just a dying rose
in a pool of blood
never going to see tomorrow

    Interesting read. Very powerful.
    Jus one suggestion...

    Knife
    Blood
    Nightmare

    maybe you could change it to
    bloody
    nightmare

    as i think that would flow a lil smoother...for the other lines only have 2 words singled out and that one part had 3 words.
    I think this was one of my favorite''s of your poems...truly touching.
