Sunny's Oasis

by Kim   Jun 14, 2006

Ringed with trees, all shades of green
Encompassed with life, and the spirit within
Nature dances to the sound of my scented piano
Pouring forth melodies from Al Green's soul

Lost in this nature paradise I spread
My heart upon pages of poetry
Talking to the trees with my words
Of romance's bodily form

A man with a heart and soul of crystal
Lavishes treats upon my body
Tempting me with Vanilla brownie blondie
Feeding me grapes from his lips

Leaves rustle as he longingly views
My paisley shirt and denim jeans
With holes in the bottom,
A desire to fulfill my wishes

My oasis rings with the sweet laughter
Of our mingled voices
While he participates in my favorite pastime,
Licking vanilla ice cream from my navel

Yay, Kimma! This was a great poem. I really enjoyed the creativity involved in making such a piece...and just how well it all flowed even though it was completely off the wall. A very bologna job.

What a beautiful picture you have captured. I really love your stuff Kim, especially your nature poems. It must be really neat living in NFD. There's not much nature here to inspire me.
