Endless stairway

Endless stairway
impossible to reach the top
trying so hard
sometimes want to give up

Walking alone
she sees the light, far away
so tired
but there is no other way

Reaching out
for a second she touched light
demons calling
falling back into the night

Voices whisper
trying to give her a hand
can't grab it
it's alone that she stands

She's broken
not yet giving up
on this endless stairway
impossible to reach the top
