I can't take this anymore
why can't things just go right
nothing is ever simple
there always has to be a fight

why can't it be easy
you like me and I like you
but things are keep us apart
and I don't know what to do

there's so many reasons
that we can't be together
but I knew if we just a had a chance
that our love would last forever

but you have a girlfriend
and we've been friends for so long
I wouldn't want that to change
if things were to go wrong

another problem is my brother
you are my brothers best friend
even though we were friends first
that's not what it comes down to in the end

everything is so complicated
and I just want you to hold me tight
I wish things were different
and that we could be alright

maybe I'll never find the answers
we can't go on pretending not to feel
I just want us to have a chance
