Blinding Beauty

by A Metaphorical Beauty   Jun 16, 2006

Do you ever wonder?
What's really beyond the sky?
And do you ever pray to stars?
In hope that they'll give you answers why?

Have you ever gazed up to see the glowing moon?
And got lost in thought of how many people
will be sharing its silent beauty in this summers afternoon?
Do your eyes fill up at its complex?

Light years away it fills up our skies,
Yet at times, it feels you just have to reach up high and you can touch it.
So elegantly it brings peace and romance to star gazed lovers eyes,
"The man in the moon" watches our daily struggles take their toll.

Does it fill your soul with peace?
And make you feel at ease, content?
Does it take your breath away; bring a smile to your face?
Will it give somebody ability to write with feeling, without explicit content?

At will, does it make you feel young again?
When you'd live life recklessly and you'd get grass stained clothes,
Young and in love, clasping your whole world in your hand,
Dancing on tippy toes in a picture perfect frame.

Do you get that tingly feeling inside?
When you make up fairytales that Prince Charming is sharing this exquisite view?
Do you feel special to be here giving you a sense of pride?
Doesn't it make wonder what's really beyond the sky? If only we knew.
