My Only Fear

by Bill Turner   Jun 16, 2006

Warm summer rain gently falling upon us
Cleansing our souls with its gentle touch
Wrapped in the warmth of your love
Lost forever in your loving gaze
Seeing myself in your eyes the rest of my days

Your loving touch reaching my soul
Bringing life to my road weary heart
The fire from your lips setting me aflame
Desire burning in my heart and soul for you
Loving you for all the wonderful things you do

Getting down upon my knee
Feeling things I have never known
Offering my life and love to you
The only fear I have ever felt
Was a no from you as I knelt

Your answer drawing us closer together
White and yellow gold symbolic of us
Different yet cast with the same care
I will honor you for all of my life
Cherishing you and loving you as my wife
