Evening News

by Golden 101   Jun 16, 2006

I turn on the TV at six oâ??clock,
And this is what I see.
A world filled with war and hate
A world that is becoming sickening.

With all the pictures in the media,
It causes the truth to fade away.
Girls care too much about image,
And getting attention from boys.
And boys think being cool is everything,
They think girls are their toys.

Now ten oâ??clock news,
Brings the hurtful lies,
Thinking that no one cares,
Others believing whatever people tell them,
Making their spirits rip and tear.
This society causes serious pain and no one chooses to hear, only ones being affected hear it quite clear.

Twelve oâ??clock news
And confessions I start.
For this life I deeply hate,
And peer pressure I must escape.
Above the cape I shall rise,
Beyond the guys and the lies,
Where Iâ??ll be myself happy and content,
Ignoring what others will say.

Iâ??m creating an image,
Straying my own way,
Paving a free way, towards the truth.
All before the morning news.

Please reply/comment, i\'m always looking 4ways 2 improve and it would mean so much 2 me.
