Her Bleeding Heart

He didn't know what he was getting himself into.
He hadn't a clue that this girl was so depressingly blue.
But as he slowly learned more about her beautiful soul,
he took her broken heart and made it whole.

And it's a good thing he came,
because she was just about to quit this game.
The game some may call love,
that's represented by the famous dove.
If he never made her feel,
the love she thought was no longer real.
She would've stopped believing,
and her heart would continue bleeding.
