Sick

by Cuddles   Jun 21, 2006

I'm sick of shedding all these tears.
They won't make you stay.
I'm sick of counting down the moments
until you go away.

I'm sick of the void inside of me
that nothing can seem to fill.
I'm sick of wondering if you're okay
and worrying myself ill.

I'm sick of the guilty knot in my throat.
I should've told you the truth.
I'm sick of emotionally dying.
Why did I have to fall in love with you?

I'm sick of hurting like this,
sick of every tear that drops.
But they keep streaming down my face,
and I can't make the crying stop.

So sad. Beautifully written poem. Life teaches us many lessons about love...sadly the ones that hurt the most teach us the most.
