My Dream

I dream of an angel coming to me in the night
Being held in her arms as the nightmares subside
Everything about her makes my world right
Just thinking of her makes my heart swell with pride

Eyes that reflect back all of my love
A look that melted my heart of stone
Sent to me, my angel from above
I smile knowing I will never be alone

My angel has always been there for me
She just did not know if before
Her smile, her love, her touch all set me free
Now it is my turn to give her all life has in store

I dream of the woman who shall be my wife
Each night as I lay next to my dream
I realize that she has brought meaning to my life
She makes me so happy I could scream
