Silent scream

by Shan   Jun 22, 2006

A quiet girl
A tiny town
She never talked
Never made a sound.
She had no name
She had not a friend
all the silence
we couldn't comprehend
A broken heart.
An unspoken word.
Nothing said,
So no one heard.
an untold story.
couldn't understand.
No one there
To hold her hand.
In a quiet room
In an abandoned place
She solved the problem
She couldn't face.
She never drank enough
To foget
Of all her problems
Of every regret
No bottle could erase the pain
Except for one
She grabbed the bullet
She loaded the gun
Her story
Way too sad to tell
The gun shot
told so very well
That one sound
was all we had to hear.
It told us
of her every fear.
another death
another grave
another life
we couldn't save.
and now when we
walk down that street
we hear the echo
of defeat
The quiet girl
haunts every dream
and now we hear
her silent scream

That was so beautiful. I loved it.
It was so well written and flowed beautifully. It was deep and thought provoking, and I loved it!
