Imagine: Come Escape the Pain

by Poetess Lana   Jun 22, 2006

In my own little world:
I am not lonely.
This new place of fun and
freedom; all the lost souls
come to visit me here,
in my own little world...

In this world of no pain:
where the abused child
leaves a drugged mother,
a drunk father, imagine
a non-existent happiness
as a home, a place to
be loved.

In my own little world:
This is where the cutters
come when the razor cuts
an inch too deep,
or when the pain
is so unbearable they can
hardly stand. They come
to escape the death-wish
their parents have ensued:

"Burn in Hell, Demon Child..."

In my own little world:
All out-of-place victims are
welcome: the children, the
parents, the lesbian, the bi,
the gay, the disturbed, the
cutters...

This is a place of love,
my own little world of poetry,
and nothing will ever change.

Beautiful, clever poem which shows a lot of talent. There is a big difference between the standard of this one and the other 2 I read. It shows great improvement in your skills.
