A Single Blade

Trapped by torturing pain,
Shaking with absolute fear.
Darkness will only remain,
Shedding only a single tear.

Liquid covering a single blade,
The crimson has a steady flow.
The scars will soon begin fade,
But the memories will stay known.

Wishing it was all a nightmare,
Hoping it all couldn't possibly be true.
Maybe now you'll find the time to care,
Because baby I did it all for you.
