The Mirror

by Nefarius   Jun 23, 2006

Is it what it seems to be
I see you and you see me
Is this all or is there more
Could this be a vitreous door
Tell me how can I step through
Is there more than that's in view
You see me and I see me
I see you but can it be
That we're the same or is it true
Are you that what's in my view
Have you asked me this before
Or you're just that silver core
Just a mirage - nothing more

Mirror, mirror on the wall
Just a mirror - is that all
Is there more than I can see
What's behind fragility

Still you do that what I do
Am I doing same as you
Are you laughing when I turn
What would be then your concern
Minute after minute, still
Watching you it makes me ill
Screaming, crying, begging you
What you're giving is too few
Waited for a sign so long
Till you do the one thing wrong
By the blinking in your eye
I have won - you can't deny
All you've done is just a lie

Mirror, mirror on the wall
I will never let you fall
And my hand that's touching you
Feel no glass - but's going through
