I believe I can Fry

by Caz   Jun 26, 2006

I'm not too good with casseroles and can't do much with stew
Baking cakes I make mistakes but there's one thing I can do
I don't need any recipes, don't really have to try
Just need that pan there on the stove, I believe that I can fry.

The sizzle's music to my ears but those inches to my hips!
Ooh, sausages and all those lovely crunchy golden chips
Just make me want to salivate, my mouths no longer dry
Yup one thing's really certain I believe that I can fry

Eggs fried nice and crispy slide from frying pan to plate
And nestle next to bacon rashers, boy they just taste great
The smell of onions cooking very nearly gets me high
And thank you god for crispy cod, I believe that I can fry.

Forget about the calories cholesterol and all that
I love that frying pan so much, don't care if I get fat
Boiling things and steaming, well it makes me want to cry.
I'm happy just the way I am, believing I can fry.

I love it. There needs to be more humorous poems in the world. Sad ones are o.k. but you have to be able to come back with something humorous. Great Job!
