A letter, Mr.Bush

by LadyPearl   Jun 27, 2006

*not intended to offend anybody*

While you sit calmly at your chair
Bodies are lying upon the ground
Lives are lost because of you
You have brought our country down

Families are weeping at this moment
Not knowing if their child is alive or dead
They pray every night in love's tears
Their hearts heavy with fearful dread

What are you wishing for, Mr. Bush
For some oil jackpot I suppose
Instead of oil, the ground is red
That is the wretched path you chose

9/11 devastated our entire nation
But only by a handful of enemies
Yet now every middle eastern stranger
Is a hated alien through what we see

Are you too sheltered Mr.Bush
To realize how many are against you
Did you not see poems and writings like this
And still keep on doing what you do

The war is now NOTHING but a bother
They all say, send them home
Families are torn and shattered
Wives are left all alone

I've heard you borrowed a lot of money
Money that could have helped the poor
Instead you waste them on death's glee
What in the world are you waiting for

While you Spend your time on war
China quietly surpasses us all
Soon we'll beg at another's feet
Aren't things bad enough as they are

Terrorists killing our innocent people
Us in return, killing them too
Making us no better than they are
Dear Mr. Bush, I'm not surprised no one likes you

I really liked this poem.. its so true. I am not an american thanx god but I dont understand how he can possibly send all of thoes innocent people over to fight in a country that did nothing wrong in the first place (it was another country responsible for 9/11) anyway I understand that in posting this I am going to make a lot of people mad and disagree with what I say.. but that doesnt matter.. what does matter is I think this poem was wonderfully written and expressed what a lot of people feel. SEND THE TROOPS HOME!

I know you said you werent trying to offend anyone, and you didnt offend me, you just made false facts. again, you didnt offend me. you said tha tno one likes him, and i do.

you cant blame Bush for 9/11. you cant blame him for starting a war. what did you want us to do, lie on our backs like dogs?

PEOPLE JOIN THE ARMY FOR 2 REASONS:
    1: DIE FOR THIER COUNTRY
    2: GET MONEY

if they died for cause number 1, i say goodjob. and he is happy.
if he died for cause number2, i say good ridence.

    just a thought provoker...
