Goodbye

He was always by her side,
When times were good or bad,
He loved her more than anything,
He never knew he'd end up sad

She loved him back,
Maybe it was the fears,
She regretted her actions,
In the later years

They went out when they got older,
Stayed together forever,
They grew up, got married,
Had good times to remember

She wore a beautiful white gown,
At the wedding joining the love,
He wore his black and white tux,
Tripping down the aisle was all she could think of

She walked down the aisle,
Never tripping on her shoes,
Thinking, "Hey,
I have nothing to lose"

They went through the ceremony,
He even got to kiss the bride,
But when they heard the loud gunshot,
They ran and tried to hide,

She ran behind a big bouquet,
Of bright yellow and pink flowers,
Thinking that the gun,
Might have run out of it's powers

It turns out it had been loaded,
He fired at the bride,
She had no time,
She tried and tried and tried

She fought him,
So did her groom,
She tried to hit him,
But she knew her doom

She was hit,
She started to cry,
As she fell to the ground,
Her groom went with her to say goodbye

She realized he was hit too,
Grabbed each other's hands,
Let's go to heaven together,
Wearing the wedding bands
