Don't Cry

by Little Dot   Jun 30, 2006

I know she left you forever
It must have hurt
But please, don't cry

Your tears are sharp and piercing
I can't stand to see you this way
I wish I could make you happy

Just say the word
And I will be right by you side
I hate seeing you so sad

I'll wipe your tears away
If you need anything
Just ask it of me

She left you, but don't cry
She's not even worth your time
She isn't good enough for you

Please don't cut your wrists
Those scars break my heart
She has never been worth your pain

I want to see your happy smile
Nothing should make you cry
You don't deserve the hurt

You might not feel loved
But I am always here
I will always care

- This poem is based on a friend of mine whose girlfriend left him and he began to cut. I wrote this poem to tell him that no matter what he thinks, he will always have at least one person who cares. -

Really touching poem---- And I also like the explanation at the end, it did really add a lot to the poem and made it more powerful. You have a lot of talent! 5/5 Hope everything works out ok with your friend....Im sure it means a lot to him that you are there in his time of need---

As lame as it sounds, time actually heals, been in that situation myself, thank you so much for that explanation at the end, not only does it make the poem more special, it shows how much you love and care for your friend.

    Dont change, you're amazing
