Disappearing Act

Disappearing Act

Magicians could never bring me back,
I've got the greatest disappearing act.
No one would see me standing there,
I don't think people would even care.

I'm like the good apple that got rotten,
Or a crack in the wall left forgotten.
I'm the boy that no one wants to see,
The one they left alone for eternity.

Invisible boy has now left for hiding,
No one will ever know my life is sliding.
Diving deep into a cinematic existence,
Falling and fading off into the distance.

Searching for a place where I belong,
Until that day when things went wrong.
My life was suffocated as I was ignored,
I left my pathetic life to be with the Lord.

This was so very sad and it showed such depth and emotion behind the words. The flow was great and the imagery perfect. 5/5

This is a great poem. It had a clear message, and the flow is incredible.

I loved your aabb rhyming. it was impecable. You are a magician with words.
I love that fact that you don't resort to words I have to look up in the dictionary.. instead you use everyday words.
Thank you for this marvelous piece of work. I'll be looking forward to more like this.

I'm like the good apple that got rotten

I would reword that if I were you.. It seems to take away from the poem a bit.

But otherwise it was a great poem. Strong and dark; the way I like them. Great job.
