Hello to you again
You've been gone quite a while now, almost five years I think
But that doesnt change anything, I still miss you as much as the moment you slipped away from this world to another
Fresh tears stream down my cheeks, and unrelinguished sighs of anguish still escape from my soul
There have been many time that I wanted to turn to you, but there was only the cold stone that stands above your grave, almost as if to stop you from coming back
There have been many time that I needed to talk to you, but all that there was were the engraved word that read "loving husband, farther and grandfather, devoted to the end"
Although these words are true, they do not console me
Thee have been many heart breaks that you couldnt ease
Many tears you couldnt wipe away
Many question left unanswered
Many dreams unfulfilled
Many proud moments have passed and many still to come, that you wont be by my side
As at your funeral, I shall wear black again, but for my graduation this time.. Please smile down upon me
And as the white angels at your side, shall be my dress as I walk down the aisle.. Please walk by my side
Because your seat shall be empty, along with many hearts
Sometimes I dream that you shall leave the sides of the angels to be by mine. But then I realize you always have been, for you are my angel. Rest in peace
