The darkness grows deeper

by Unknownsolider   Jul 6, 2006

I toss [&&] turn, another sleepless night,
I roll over [&&] grab my pillow tight.
I recall your words "you were my biggest mistake"
There isn't much more I can take.

I think of you, as the darkness grows deeper

I pull my hair into a ponytail,
I try to look happy, but always fail.
I watch the blur of people walk through town,
But the thought of you still brings me down.

I think of you, as the darkness grows deeper.

The words you said, were they a lie?
Did you put me through this pain just to watch me cry?
I held you tight because I couldn't let you go,
You tried to use me [&&] now I know

I think of you, as the darkness grows deeper.

How long will it take until the scars heal?
The pain I felt, it was so real.
I want to go through a week not thinking of you
I want to open up [&&] love again too.

I think of you, as the darkness grows deeper.

Nobody heard me shout,
Until yesterday there was no way out.
So I will pick up this rusty knife
And I'll destroy this worthless life.

I think of you, as the darkness grows deeper.
