Hollow Rain

I hear its whisper in a distance
I feel the graceful dance of the air
Sending its own welcome message.
The sound grows nearer
As I hear footsteps becoming one
With the echoes it had made
I stood still
Ive watched and listened
There was peace in me.
My senses are awaken with the first
Raindrop touching my cheek,
I pumped my head unto the sky
Hoping to catch the beauty painted on it
It was not there
It was not there at all
For I was crying
For I was alone

    [ I think you should have "listened" instead of listen. ]
