Love Too Late

by Lauren Brow   Jul 16, 2006

*This poem SUCKS, but please read still. And vote, honestly.*

You two really love eachother,
You claim your love is true,
But sometimes I tend to doubt,
That she's the one for you.

She says that you're her life,
You're her whole entire world,
Without you she's nothing,
You're her 'boy'-she's you're 'girl'.

And when you're not around,
She talks about you all the time,
Well please someone just tell me,
Is it wrong that you're also on my mind?

I remember when she introduced us,
My last relationship was at an end,
She wanted to show you off,
And let you meet all her friends.

You and I had a connection,
It was so damn innocent,
We seemed like we were friends,
But that isnt what I meant.

You were very charming,
I saw a sparkle in your eyes,
I fell for you the day we met,
I'll admit it, and I wont lie.

You were definatly my type,
From your looks to your voice,
The timing sure was off,
But true love doesnt have a choice.

Well your relationship with her,
Grew and remained strong,
I only got to see you,
When I could tag along.

I couldn't stop kicking myself,
For finding you so damn late,
I felt very guilty inside for,
Loving my bestfriend's date.
-----------------------------------
Well today-this morning,
I finally heard the news,
You oughtta be congradulated,
So I guess thats what I'll do.

I'm so happy for you both,
I bet that I could cry,
Cross my freaking heart,
And hope to f*&king die.

I hope you to together,
Have a happy life,
As I think this in tears,
And reach for my knife.

Everynight I think of you,
Before I close my eyes,
I dont want you-I need you,
To the point of suicide.

I love you so damn much,
That I want to slit my throat,
So here is my good-bye,
I hope you understand what I wrote.
