She's The one to blame

by Emm   Jul 16, 2006

She's sitting in the rain
thinking of his name
and about this continuess game
that she constantly plays.

He's sitting there looking at the sky
thinking of her
and asking why
he knew this time was for sure
it was no lie

She looked in the mirror
and began to cry
thinking of him and
all of their good times
she always thought the world of him
until their friendship slowly died

He looked at his phone
then saw the time
said to himself,
"I've crossed the line"
I don't think I'll ever be fine

They walked down the street
and saw each other
She thought to herself
Look theres my big brother!
He looked at her with a winkle in his eye

They both thought to themselves
"Surely I have to lie"

"I can't him what I really feel"

"She can't know that I wished this wasn't real"

They walked toward one another
Both putting on another pretend smile
He gave her a hug and all the while
thought to himself
"This is the girl that always made me smile"

She told him everything was fine
when they both knew it was another lie. He saw the bags under eyes. Saw that she had been crying

She looked in his eyes and saw the pain and all the hurt.
He looked in hers. Knowing the same.

She looked down in shame. Knowing that for all of this.

Thats really sad. I really liked it alot. Great flow. Really well written. I liked that it seemed a little open to the readers own interpretation. Take care. 5\5. Love you to comment on any of mine.
