A Single Tear

by Amanda Brown   Jul 18, 2006

A single tear shed from my light Grey eyes
A river still to come
A single tear my final goodbye
It's all said and done

Losing you was just to hard
I cannot even grieve
A single tear is all I've lost then i hit the bar
losing you to hard to believe

The alcohol helps it numbs my pain
helps me to forget
A single tear for you in the rain
Bring me in to the light

A single tear removed my soul
I no longer feel your presence
A single tear formed an empty hole
The pain unbearable, the pain immense.

For my Grandad Hamilton

That was one of the best poems i have ever read. it was full of feeling that could actually be true and most poems are dried of that now days. great job, and if its true i am truly sorry. keep up the good work.
