Dementation

by EveN iN DeaTH   Jul 20, 2006

Days abscond,
nights linger.
The moon gleaming red,
the world consumed by ire.

Sleep overtakes my mind,
there's evanescence in my pain.
perplexed thoughts invade,
every dream remains the same.

Walls bleed my name,
hallways perpetuate through darkness.
Running, I am, to keep away
from this painful bliss.

Corpses lie everywhere,
excruciating screams distend through the air.
I close my eyes, smiling,
laughing without a care.

Eyes bloodshot and swollen,
awoken I have become.
Again, I bolt the door,
beginning the continuation of my isolation.
