My Special Friend

Once upon a time, quite long ago
You broke my heart like you'll never know
You were my friend, the dearest of all
Til that day when you made me fall
You told me what you really thought
I've tried to forget, but it seems I can not
Those things you said I could not take
To this day it makes my heart break
You said I was mean and to go away
I never understood, still to this day
We were so close, or so it seemed
To be friends again, I have dreamed
Sammy, you were like a sister to me
Something you obviously couldn't see
We grew up together, but grew apart
There will always be a place for you in my heart
It's been many years, and still you dont know
How you broke my heart so long ago

    Aw, this is so sad. It reminds me of a lost friendship of mine so I feel your pain. Everything just fit right, but the flow was a bit rocky. Great job though. 4/5

    This was a very sad poem, with a deep message. Broken friendships are hard. Keep up the amazing work!
    Only think I think you mean Break instead of Brake here.
