Longing

by Nancy   Jul 26, 2006

I wrote this poem for Kevin, a man that I'm very much in love with.

My fingers touch,
a body to feel.
The pain inside,
a mind to heal.

A kiss upon my cheek.
Your hand on my breast.
I touch your soft lips,
my kiss to rest;

My hands are searching,
the need to find.
You are leading the way,
I know you don't mind.

Naked bodies touching,
the feeling within.
we both know it's wrong,
our love is a sin.

But feelings-
a trick they play.
They can ruin lives,
or so they say.

Excitement is climbing,
we know it's here.
Our fingers intertwining,
emotions of fear.

The climax we are reaching,
our bodies are drained.
We are still holding on,
our souls are stained.

And then you are gone,
my heart is to scream.
The tears are falling,
it was just but a dream.
