You are gone now

by Nancy   Jan 10, 2007

You're gone with the wind,
you live here no more.
The house is so empty,
it's not like before.

You were taken away,
far away from here.
I lost you in this war,
a fight so near.

Why did you leave me,
what did I do to you.
Your parents so untrusting,
Wish we could think this through.

But time we do not have,
you are growing so fast.
You're changing so rapidly,
and life seems like a blast.

I miss you so much,
wish you were here.
I could tell you a story,
about far or near.

But here I sit alone,
in a room so still.
My heart is breaking,
I scream with a chill.

You are gone with the wind,
you live here no more.
The house is so empty,
It was never like this before!
