Unsung

by Jemma   Jul 26, 2006

You'e a sigh on the wind
A song left unsung
But I've always known the words
And it's always in my head
It's a shaky breath silently escaping
And the cool night air that graces our lungs
And my heart decides to run a marathon
But I'm just sitting here with you
So I stand cloaked in shadows and bathed in light
Swarming in a veil of opposites and contradictions
And suddenly I know longer need the air
Because I'm slipping, falling, delving deeper and deeper
And I feel lost to the world because you're with me
And we stay together in this silent night
Our hearts the only rhythm
And the song is still there
And we're stood together
And we're singing
