Dancing in the Rain

by Carmen   Jul 28, 2006

I'm alive,
bound and free.
My spirits take me higher
than the tall forest trees.

As raindrops caress
my body this night,
I'm filled with excitement,
sorrow and delight.

I want to savor the rain,
every last sweet drop.
And twirl and leap
until I have to stop.

As the raindrops shimmer
down my shiny, wet hair,
I get up and dance again
in this lovely summer night's air.

Remember not to pout
on a drizzly day.
You just need to smile
and learn to dance in the rain.

This is true....it's so much fun. Ever tried it?
