Lost Ones

by Deana   Jul 29, 2006

So many lost ones
With no where to go
No one to turn to
When their hearts become low

They turn to the streets
Becoming wise
It doesn`t erase
The pain in their eyes

They learn how to eat
sleep and survive
but they can`t find love
so they find a high

cocaine becomes their mother
father and friend
Deceiving and teasing
Pulling them in

Leaving them lower
Than even before
Always trying to find
a way to get more

Dead in the street
a handful of blow
so many lost ones
with nowhere to go.
