Betrayel Of Angels

Rain fell from the gray sky as she sat on her knees, crying from what they'd done.

Angels had told her it would all be ok, that they would last. But they could not control fate and fate had turned on her, had taken him away from her.

So there she sat alone morning her loss. She had stood by helplessly, with tears streaming down her face as he walked out the door.

And there she had stood, for the next two days, until she forced herself to realize that they had lied,they had known all along.It was a hard concept to accept at first, but now she was numb.

She would blame them for her sorrow and pain, blame them for her loss. As the tears streamed down her face, her anger rose.

She could not do this, could not live knowing they had lied and he was gone.

She crawled off the floor and walked slowly to the kitchen, as she scribbled her faulty reasons on paper, her tears smeared the ink. She laid down on the rug, clutching her sides, waiting for the pain to die.

As it did, her tears stopped and so did her anger.

And when the angels found her, they found only a note saying simply,

" Betrayed by angels"
