The Boy

by SilenceBreaksTheHeart   Jul 30, 2006

Theres a story here you'll see
of how my sorrow came to be.
It's because of a certain boy
that erased all my joy.

Oh how he was sweet and kind,
I couldn't get him off my mind.
He had the cutest of blue eyes,
and he could always calm my cries.

He knew all there was to know
and he said he'd never go.
He never could make me mad,
with him I was never sad.

Then one day it all changed,
my happy world rearranged.
All of a sudden he was gone
and he took my heart along.

Without this boy I can't breath,
I thought he would never leave.
I loved him right from the start,
I though we would never part.

He always wiped away my tears,
now I'm filled with so many fears.
I didn't get to ask him why
or even tell my love good bye.

This sweet boy's name is Michael,
he put me through this painful love cycle.
This is the boy I'll never forget,
my love for him I'll never regret.

***I'm not sure if this needs work or not...comment and tell me what you think. Thanks so much : )

I think that it was really good, but one thing that I'd change is how you repeated certain key words like 'erased'. I think that messes with the flow just a little, but I did REALLY like it.
